If you are thinking of running KODI on a Windows PC (recommended) instead of buying a separate Kodi box, this device is a perfect addition! Cutting the cord now seems very viable and more seamless than I thought. A Kodi-based home theater PC is great for watching your ripped or downloaded videos, but even if you’ve cut cable from your life, there’s still a time and place for live TVlike sports. Can't wait to hook this up to a big outdoor antenna.

I get all but 3 possible channels available in my area in full 1080p. I currently have this hooked up to a Clearstream Eclipse indoor antenna taped to my wall. What can I say.everything works with no glitches.
After configuring the device in NextPVR the TV channels now play directly from within KODI giving me a one-stop shop for Over-The-Air TV, streamed media, and downloaded media! This also simplified my sound hookup since now all sound regardless of source comes through my Windows soundcard. One of the common criticisms of the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K is the lack for USB/Micro SD Card support. After testing the device using WinTV, I then configured this device within NextPVR running on a laptop with KODI Krypton for Windows 7, hooked up to a 65" TV using a VGA cable. Leveraging this TV tuner feature, it is possible to process IPTV m3u feeds. 10 minutes after opening the box I was watching TV on my 10-year-old laptop (including picture in picture).
The software (WinTV) that comes with this tuner is quite good as standalone software and easy to install.
